Title:Puzzle Pieces
Jack/Daniel - Jim/Blair
Summary:Ever thought the universe could screw up so badly it'd have to do some pretty radical adjustments? Well, that is basically the idea here. Don't let the character deaths at the early part of the story throw you -- that is not our Sentinel universe, nor our Stargate universe, nor is the second universe we visit, but worry not, the outcome of the storyline made me smile and sigh happily. Read it. It's long, plotty and though sad in places, it has a life affirming feel that appealed to me and I absolutely adore the characterization, although these are not our boys, but the main universe is close enough to fit the bill and the characters are sufficiently different, yet the same in both worlds. Confused? Read it, you'll get the idea *g*

Title:
  • Comedy of Errors
  • Measure for Measure
  • Summary:Another SG1/Sentinel crossover -- with the usual madness and fun of Sideburns/Alyjude - The first one is what it says - a comedy of errors - who's with whom, where, when, why? When they want to be with someone else? Confused? Read it and get a good laugh because as always the boys are stubborn, oblivious. The sequel is a lot newer and here the SGC is facing a rather strange and difficult task to which there is only one answer: Jim Ellison, Sentinel extraordinaire - but who saves the day? Read it and see for yourselves.
I enjoyed the flow of the stories, especially the second one.

    Title:Scorpions
Summary:I've read more than a few SG1/Sentinel crossovers, and more often that not they were either wildly OOC or just plain... boring - the execptions are normally the ones with roots deeply embedded in humour/parody. This one, however, has a solid plot, it's got pretty good characterizations and one other thing that I'm a sucker for - the quantum mirror technology at work *g*.

Title:The Grave Yields Back Her Robberies
Summary:I think the thing that caught my eye here was the use of Norse mythology and languages and the for the general feel. Also, I'm a sucker for a slow development of feelings and relationships, just because it sells the idea of the guys getting together so much more

    Title:Truth, Clarity
Summary:Again, the slow development of feelings leading to a relationship is the real journey here, but also, Quercus writes the entire team so damned well.

Most stories on the page are very good -- I've even been digging into her Senfic and even though that's a few years older than the SG stuff, it's still damned good. Again the slow burn of a relationship sells the idea much better.

    Title:Somewhere a dog barks
Summary:Probably one of the most hilarious reads I've done lately. Genderbender and MPREG all one and so funny you'll be crying while reading it -- It used to be a WIP, but since the last time I checked, the story has been doubled in length and it's still freakishly hilarious, AND it's finished *g*

    Title:Loki's Curse
Summary:I love it fast and funny, but slow and funny? I adore this for being so damned slow with the slash part of it *g* -- same as with Quercus above, the slow burn and development from friendship to relationship sells it so damned well.
Apart from that, it's a hoot to read. Remeber Fragile Balance? (the mini-Jack episode in season 7) -- imagine that Loki made a mistake at some point (yes, cloning Jack wasn't the only thing he did...) and the SGC is left to clean up after the Asgard renegade scientist *g*

Title:Just start somewhere and keep reading *g*
Summary:Newer author, but already so damned good. Snarky, funny and sexy stories. Most of the stories are PWPs, but the good, interesting kind.

Title:I have NO idea where to start... close your eyes and click?
Summary:The thing I love about Jo's slash fic? The whumping! *g* Enough hurt/comfort to satisfy anyone -- her gen-fic? Squint and look at it sideways and you'll get enough subtext to satisfy a slasher ^_~

    Title:Behind Closed Doors series
  • Part 1
    Lost and Found
  • Part 2
    Stricking Distance
  • Summary:Because it's got snaked Daniel, pain, angst... all the good stuff *g*

Title:The Long and Winding Yellow Brick Road
Summary:Oh boy... Probably one of the best slash stories I've read in AGES. Takes off during Season 7 and gives us a different battle with Anubis, a different story where Daniel is not as fine as he says he is, where Jack pulls his head out of his ass and does something about it. Where it may look like a deathfic at times, but when you finish it? You'll be laughing a certain part of your anatomy off. A story that has more Oz references than you can shake a stick at...

    Title:Five Billion Years of Sunshine
Summary:I'm a sucker for 'what ifs'. Maayan describes it best herself : Seven ways SG-1 could have destroyed the world. Seven stories. Something for the whole family. Gen, a smattering of het and a teespoon of slash *g* -- it's got it all. Imagine if Sam hadn't intervened in 'A Matter of Time' and they'd destroyed Cheyenne Mountain with the gate open, slowly pulling reality through the wormhole and into the black hole... Or what if the time loop in 'Window of Opportunity' couldn't be stopped? Seven stories dealing with 'what if' -- Some I liked some I didn't, but most sent a shiver down my spine...
